Originally from Bakersfield, California, I am a graduate of California Baptist University, Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, and Gateway Seminary of the Southern Baptist Convention. I earned my Ph.D. in New Testament Studies at Gateway Seminary (neé Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary), with a minor in Old Testament studies. I lived in Mill Valley, CA with my wife and three children for almost 10 years. I have been the associate pastor of Cornelia Avenue Southern Baptist Church in Fresno, CA since May 2017.
